I Love You Card featuring Lawn Fawn I Love You(CALYPTUS) Stamp

Hello Crafty Friends - Annie here with a Love card.

For today's card, I am using the adorable Lawn Fawn I Loce You(Calyptus) stamp set
I couldn't resist this cute guy.

I kept my card clean and simple - just a die cut for a bit of color behind the Koala and the other little stamps from the set. I added a Queen & Co. Topping Mini Heart in Light Pink by the sentiment.

I hope you give this sweet guy a try!

Rawr Means "I Love You"

Hi crafty friends! I love all things for Valentine's Day. I had so much fun playing with this adorable little Rawr stamp set by Lawn Fawn. I thought it would be perfect for making little mini Valentine's Day cards.

I started by die cutting 4 pieces of watercolor cardstock down to 2 3/4" square. Then I stamped the dinosaur and sentiment with Versafine black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

With a cutting tool I cut four pieces of solid cardstock a little larger then the watercolor square to use as a matte.

I colored all of the dinosaur images in with Arteza real brush pens. I colored all of the dinosaurs different colors. I colored the "rawr" speech bubble in with grey. I added browns for a little shadow and and ground cover so the dinosaur would have something to stand on and not be floating in space.

Then I stamped a bunch of hearts and bows with Versafine in and heat set them with clear embossing powder.

I colored all of the little images in with different color Arteza real brush pens. Then I fussy cut them out.

I matted all four dinosaurs onto the different color cardstock. I then adhered them all to a top fold 3"X3" cardbase.

With a little piece of foam tape I adhered two hearts on each card. I then adhered the bows with foam tape on the top for the girls and on the neck for the boys.

Interactive card with Neat & Tangled Stay Cool

Welcome back friends!

This Friday I wanted to share a double slider interactive card using the Neat & Tangled Stay Cool stamp set, since I am loving using the winter themed stamp sets for Christmas AND after!  Love stretching my stamps!

For the double slider I used Lawn Fawn's double slider surprise dies following the video on their website for specific instructions.  I wanted cool tones to go with the winter stamps and used the purple striped pattern paper from Lawn Fawn's Really Rainbow paper pack.  For the snow I die cut some stitched hills from white velvet paper to give some texture.

I stamped all the cuties from Neat & Tangled Stay Cool stamp set, colored with copic markers, and fussy cut out.  On the left side of the slider, I stamped the sentiment in black ink and added the little girl fishing and the adorable penguin.

On the right side of the slider, I added the adorable girl with the sled and the seal with another cute sentiment.  I added the two pull tabs in thick black cardstock heat embossed with white embossing powder on each side for easy pulling on the card base.

In the center, I inked a piece of Tim Holtz watercolor paper with stormy sky, chipped sapphire, & faded jeans oxide inks.  I added the whole double slider to the middle to ground it on a card base I created from 110lb thick white cardstock.  And I added yet another great sentiment from the same Stay Cool stamp set!

To add a bit of shine, I used glossy accents to the "Cool" and snowflakes.  It gives just the right amount of ice shimmer to the card!

If you haven't tried interactive cards yet, the dies and videos out their make them easy to create.  Not to mention they are sooo fun to pull on!

Thanks again for visiting with me and Kraftgali today!  If you haven't joined them on FB, you can here and share your creations with the product you get from them!

See you next Friday!

Happy Valentine's Day Featuring Peacock Stamp by Avery Elle

Hello Crafty Friends - Annie here with my first Design Team card.
I am excited and honored to be on the team.

I know that my son doesn't always love getting all the pink and red valentine's day cards every year. So, this year I decided to create a more masculine card. I used non-traditional colors yet I kept the color palette light. I went with a Teal and Purple color scheme.

I also kept it clean and simple. Only a bit of sequins and a tiny bit of shimmer cardstock for a finishing touch.  I used Peacock stamp by Avery Elle

I stamped the image on Bristol Smooth cardstock with Versafine Ony Black ink and colored it with my Arteza Brush Markers for a nice watercolor effect. I fussy cut mine out, however, there's a coordinating die Peacock Elle-ments by Avery Elle

I trimmed the card front to 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" - so I could add a bit of purple and blue cardstock on the right side. After adding the cardstock the panel is now an A2 size front panel.  Popped up the image with some thin foam adhesive added it to the card front. I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of the same purple cardstock and added a bit of shimmer blue cardstock behind it. Popped it up using some thin foam adhesive. For finishing touches, I added a tiny clay heart to the tail feather and a few sequins.

I would like to thank you for stopping by the blog today.

Lawn Fawn You(Calyptus) Card.

Hi crafty friends I'm so excited to be back again this week to share a card with you guys! I love this little stamp set by Lawn Fawn for a little stamp set it is so adorable.

I stamped the koala bear, flower, and eucalyptus in Memento black ink onto smooth white cardstock. I stamped a couple just in case I messed up and if I don't I can make more then one card. I colored in the images with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.

For the background I used the Tumbling Heart's stencil by Newton's Nook Designs on red paper with red ink. Then I die cut it with a rectangle stitched edge die. I die cut two more rectangles out of pattern paper to layer on my card.

I stamped the hearts with white pigment ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I fussy cut the hearts out and adhered them to the front of the card. I added clear Nuvo drops to the center of the open hearts.

I die cut a banner and stamped the sentiment in white pigment ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

I love this little koala bear he is way too cute. As a last little detail I added clear Nuvo drops on his eyes and on his nose. I used a pin to even it out on his nose.

Kissing Pandas for Valentine's Day

Welcome friends!

Today I am bringing you a Valentine's card with non traditional colors.  I love spicing things up that way and trying new color combos for holidays!  I used the ever cute pandas from Mama Elephants Panda stamp & die set.

To start my card I trimmed 110lb white cardstock to create a 5x7 card base.  I then trimmed some watercolor paper to fit a little smaller over the front.  Next, I inked the watercolor paper with Tim Holtz oxide inks in tumbled glass, broken china, mustard seed, & squeezed lemonade and splattered with white paint using a wet paint brush.

While I let that dry, I stamped the pandas with black ink and die cut using the coordinating dies that come with the stamp set!  Yeah for all in one!  I lined them up on the bottom and then stamped the ever adorable sentiment and then pop dotted the pandas next to it.

For the lanterns, I stamped and die cut them from the Mama Elephant Panda stamp & die set and colored with copic markers.  I then lined them up and added the black and white twine with glue dots to create the line.  Next, I pop dotted each lantern along the twine and glue dotted the mint sequins under each lantern.

For the final touches, I added my shimmer on each lantern using the wink of stella and a little silver heart I cut from my cameo between the two kissing pandas.

I wish everyone a crafty weekend and I hope I inspired you try some new color combos yourself!
