Concord & 9th City Skapes

Happy Saturday Craft Day!! Today's project uses 2 of my favorite techniques with one of my favorite inks....ink blending and ink smooshing with Distress Oxide Ink. The star of the show is Concord & 9th City Skapes stamp set.  We are creating a silhouette with a stamp by simply filling in the image with a black alcohol marker.  This will add a whole new look to your stamps. Thanks so much for stopping by!

A Slothful Sky using Sunny Studio Stamps

Happy Thursday Crafters!

Today I have a bright card for you with the fun sloths in the Sunny Studios Silly Sloths stamp set!

This card has a lot of detail, but really didn't take me too long to make.  I love those cards!

I started by die cutting a thick white cardstock with a double stitched frame and then using the same cardstock, I die cut the wave template.  I then took the insides and inked them with peacock feathers, twisted citron, & mowed lawn.  I took the sky pieces and embossed with stitched clouds from Sunny Studios.

Next, I stamped all the images from Sunny Studios Silly Sloths stamp set, colored with copic markers and fussy cut out.
I die cut a stitched banner and stamped the sentiment in versafine black ink.

I pop dotted the images for a bit of dimension.

For the final touches, I added green and blue sequins and some green and blue nuvo drops.

And there you have it, a quick bright and fun card done!

You can check out all the brands in the Kraftgali store, everything is one sale!

Thank you sooo much for swinging by!

Foiling With Altenew World Map

Hello everyone and welcome back to our Saturday Craft Day with Kraftgali!  Today’s project is focused on how to heat foil without having to use a bulky laminator of special foiling machine.  Those things are great to have in the craft room but if you are limited on space or budget, then this is a great alternative to still achieve that super fun foiled look.  I’m using Rainbow Deco Foil with this amazing World Map Stamp set from Altenew.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Tickled Pink It's Your BIrthday!

Welcome back fellow crafters!
Today I have a super fun summery slim line card for you using Sunny Studios new release from the Kraftgali store

I started the slim line with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base and trimmed a piece to fit on to the front and cut the circles on my cameo silhouette.  I took another piece of cardstock and inked in ombre using oxide inks of mowed lawn, twisted citron, & shabby shutters to fit behind the circles.

I stamped the images from the Fabulous Flamingos stamp set, colored with copic markers, and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

I then trimmed acetate to fit behind three of the circles, added pop dots to the back of the circle piece with green sequins and adhered to the card.

Next, I die cut two stitched banners, stamped the sentiments and added the flowers, trimming the ends to fit on the card.

I adhered all the images around the open circles, pop dotting some for depth.

If you haven't seen the Sunny Studios summer release Kraftgali has some of them left and on sale here.

We would love to see your creations and can share them with us at the Kraftgali Fan Club on FB!

Thank you so much for visiting!

4th of July Fireworks!

Happy 4th of July!
My card today is exactly what I will be doing this 4th of July with my family, camping and watching the fireworks in the woods!

I used a couple of the Lawn Fawn sets, specifically the Happy Trails stamp set and the Coaster Critters stamp set & Coordinating dies for my scene.

I started by trimming my slim line card to an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base and cut a piece of watercolor paper a little smaller.  I then heat embossed my fireworks using a variety of colors and then inked with black soot, chipped sapphire, seedless preserves & picked raspberry for my night sky.

I stamped my images, colored with copic markers, and cut the critters with the coordinating dies and fussy cut the rest.
Next I die cut the layers of grass and inked them each with lucky clover & pine needles popping up two of the layers.

I layered all the images, pop dotting some and then simply added a heat embossed sentiment along the top on a strip.
I wanted to keep it simple to show off the fireworks and let them sparkle!

I hope you all have a fabulous July 4th, even if you live outside of the US!
Please stop into the Kraftgali store, everything is on sale!

And you can join us on the Kraftgali Fan Club on FB and show us your creations!

Thank you!

Silly Sloth Box Card

Happy Monday crafty friends!

Wow this summer is flying by soon school by kiddos will be back in school. I'm having a hard time believing it is already July 1st.

This week I had fun playing with the Silly Sloths stamp set by Sunny Studio Stamps. I have been really enjoying making box cards. I had always thought they looked really complicated to make but once you make one and know the measurements they come together fast.

I stamped all of the images into smooth card stock with Memento black ink and colored them in with Spectrum Noir markers. I fussy cut them all out.  I use a strip of acetate to attach all of the sloths and plants to the card.

I think this sentiment is too cute. "Have a Slothsome Birthday".

I used Black Nuvo drops on all of the sloths noses to give a little bit of dimension and shine to the noses.

I think the back is perfect for a little note to be written. I had a n extra sloth so I adhered him at the took like he is looking over the note.

Have a great week and I will be back next Monday!
