Hello everyone! Today we are doing some double masking with Inkadinkadoo Masking baby so that we get this super cute effect with our Koala. This stamp set is from Neat and Tangled, and it's called Koalifications. The sentiments are amazing because there is one for Valentine's Day, Friendship, and hugs, which sort of covers all the basis. AND you can pull out other stamps from your stash and curve them around his banner, making them birthday, congrats, or whatever sentiment you like.
The video tutorial will walk you through how I did this; but a couple things to note. Be sure to laydown your mask straight because sometimes it is hard to tell right away. Also, if you heat emboss your images, be sure to not place the heat over the masking paper for too long as that will peel it up a little bit. I just pressed it down to make it stick again and all was great! This masking paper is amazing and can be used for multiple cards if you are using the same ink colors. Thank you so much for stopping by to craft with us!
Hello everyone! Welcome to the Kraftgali Blog! We are sending some well wishes and cheer today with this set of Get Well Soon cards using the Lawn Fawn set. It was so much fun to play with this small set because no matter how little, you can find so many ways to use it and love it! Join us over at the Kraftgali Channel for this tutorial and many other amazing ones from the creative team!
I started by making some backgrounds with my alcohol markers that I have in my stash and Ranger's Alcohol blending solution. It was a great way to use what I had in order to play with this awesome technique. Once I had my backgrounds made, I cut out frames with a rectangle, square (turned like a diamond shape) and heart die. Then I started playing with placement in order to finish our the cards. The final card was using some left over pieces I had like the leftover heart die and a Get Well Die i had in my stash. I love using up all of the things laying around on my desk because honestly, how can ACTUALLY throw any of this stuff in the trash!?? :)
These were very fast and easy to make and assemble and would be a great surprise to brighten anyone's day (hopefully).
Here are some still shots of all the cards.
Congratulations to the winner! Please email us at kraftgali@outlook.com before Sunday, February 18th 11:59 pm PST to claim your prize, or it will be passed over to next person.
Remember... The March challenge will go live on March 1st. Don't forget to come and play!!
Today I am bringing you a card that I created using a new stamp and die set from Neat and Tangled, as well as a new stencil of theirs!
I created this card by stamping my S'more characters in black ink and then coloring them with Copic Markers, then I die cut them using the coordinating dies.
Next, I laid down my stencil on a sheet of Neenah Solar White Cardstock and dusted some light pink ink over an area of it. Using a slightly darker pink, and dusting ink through the new stencil, I imparted the stenciled design onto my white cardstock.
Using my stamping positioner I lined up my sentiment and stamped half of it in black ink and the other portion in red ink that matched the cardstock I was matting my card in.
This was all adhered together using my favorite tape runner, and with using 3-dimensional adhesives on the S'more characters.
I super enjoyed creating this card, I love the stencils from Neat and Tangled, and the adorable figures are TO DIE FOR!
Hello! I am sharing a video to create striped backgrounds cards featuring Otterly Fantastic stamps set by Avery Elle Stamps.
I have used 'Striped' embossing folder by darice.. For my first card base, I embossed an A2 size cardstock using my die cutting machine & then blended follisized amber & worn lipstick distress oxide ink colors.
I also created a rainbow color background with multiple colors of distress oxides.
I did not like the transition between colors in my rainbow color blending so I cheated a bit. I cut them into thick strips and adhered them together, removing the strips with blended areas I did not like from between. This is a good trick if blending is not smooth. (Refer to video for better explanation)
I had also posted about this gift tag that I created last week using the same stamp set. More details here - http://bit.ly/2FZt8Rz
Please do leave a comment if you like my cards & video.
I created my background using stencils and Distress Oxides in Worn Lipstick color. These inks are great for “watercolor” layering and for a creamy, unique look. I layered Distress Oxide Ink over my stencil and splattered some water and heat-dry it. I also sprinkled on silver & black paint for dots using Gansai Tambi watercolors. I have used some old Tim Holtz Layering stencilsFlourish &Mini #4.
After stamping the Avery Elle Otterly Fantastic Stamps on a white cardstock and coloring them with Copic Markers, I die cut them with the coordinating dies. The adorable otters and cute sentiments of Avery Elle Otterly Fantastic stamp set are indeed fantastic!

By the way, did you see sneaks of the two striped background on the left & right of my gift tag? Originally, I planned to post them on today's blog hop! But if you know me, you must be knowing I can hardly stick to my crafty timelines along with other things in life.😕 I made a mistake on those cards & had to redo them. Hence, I was behind this blog hop's deadlines, so I decided to create this gift tag for today. Please do visit my blog next week for a video tutorial about these backgrounds. 😇
