Make Your Sentiment Pop

Hello everyone!  Happy Saturday Crafting!  We are getting some serious mileage out of these amazing Altenew Bold Alphabet Dies.  See how we use them in a unique way to add a lot of "umph" to the card.  Also, we are coloring in 2 different mediums...that's right, in one card....you heard it correctly! We are going to do a little bit of easy water coloring and very easy alcohol marker coloring.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Go Wild with N&T Wild Ones

Hello everyone!! Today's card works on using the images in this adorable Neat and Tangled Wild Ones stamp set as a focal point for the card.  This giraffe is just about the cutest thing ever and I love how large it is.  It fills up the front of the card which makes placement so much easier.  I had so much fun coloring this giraffe and making him "stand" out on my project...(see what I did there?).  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Paint Night with Neat and Tangled

Hello everyone!  Today's project features Neat and Tangled Paint Night!  We are using all kinds of fun products to bring this card to life. Starting with the stamping and coloring of these adorable images, I used Versafine Ink to stamp so that I could heat emboss with clear embossing powder and then color with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  I wanted a subtle background in a muted color so that the images would pop so I pulled out this Neat and Tangled Receding Blocks stencil and some Nuvo Mica Spritz in Charcoal.  I love this effect.  Something so nice for the background.   Thank you so much for stopping by!

Clean and Simple with Newton's Nook Holding Happiness

Hello everyone!  Today's project focuses on multiple cards using the same design but with a little bit of a different flare.  These clean and simple cards were easy to put together and the added elements really bring them up a notch.  I used a few staple products to bring them all together.  First, I did some loose water coloring with Distress inks and then stamped out my three large images from the Newton's Nook Holding Happiness stamp set onto the colored backgrounds.  I then cut out just the balloons/presents/cakes as they will be popped up on the cards.
After that, I stamped and colored the full images onto a card panel.  Using some subtle patterned paper to divide the card, I placed that on the upper half of the design.  I used this amazing glitter cardstock by Concord and 9th to add accents to the cards such as the bows and ribbon but also the sentiments on most of the cards.  I am LOVING these layered sentiments by Paper Rose in both the celebrate and congrats.  I finished off the cards with more color, Nuvo Crystal drops, and Nuvo Crystal Glaze.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

Quick Cards With Pattern Paper Backgrounds

Hello & welcome to another Kraftgali blog post & video.

Today, we are showing how to make these 2 quick cards with pattern papers. You could use any old or new pattern papers from your stash to create beautiful cards.

The stamp set featured in today's video - Loveable llamas Stamps set by Newton's Nook Designs. I have used the Mini Misti to stamp images multiple times. You could also use any other stamping tool or just an acrylic block. The images are colored using Prismacolor premier color pencils.

In all of my cards today, I am using Lawn Fawn Paper Packs. I have also used Stitched Hillside & Rectangle dies to create the frames as shown.

Card 1: I love this COOL card and the funky glasses. I HAD to gift it to my husband. 😎

Card 2: The rainbow background colors made this one really stand out.

Loveable llamas Stamps set & Lawn Fawn paper packs along with other supplies are available for sale at Kraftgali shop if you are interested. Do check out our clearance section as well. Tons of good deals!

Thank you for spending time with me today! Hope you have a good weekend.

Happy Crafting :)

Distress Oxide Techniques + Graduation Cards

Hello & welcome to another Kraftgali blog post & video.

Today, we are having so much fun making these graduation cards featuring some distress oxide inks.

To begin with, I wanted to apologize for the lighting & filming variations you will come across in the video as I had struggled to complete this recording in several days.

The stamp set featured in today's video - Newtons Graduation Stamps set by Newton's Nook Designs. I am using the Tim Holtz Stamp Platform to stamp the cat images multiple times. The images are colored using Prismacolor premier color pencils.

Newton's Graduation - Newton Nook Designs Stamps Set

For the first card background, I have used Distress Oxide inks in a rainbow color order. I have used Concord & 9th All About You Dies Set along with  Newtons Graduation Stamps set.

Colors Being Used in Rainbow Fashion-
1. Wilted Violet
2. Faded Jeans
3. Broken China
4. Peeled Paint
5. Fossilized Amber
6. Spiced Marmalade
7. Fired Brick

I have also used Tattered Angels glimmer mist in all of the cards today to add some sparkle and shine. Xyron Adhesive Eraser is one of my favorite tools handy to prevent any adhesive accidents.

For the second card, I have created the background using distress oxides on Canson Montval watercolor paper and adhered the stamped & colored image on it. I literally spent more than 2 hours playing on this background as it was so much fun! Distress oxide inks are very forgiving. I love it!

For the third card, I have used ALPHABET Dies to die cut the word CONGRATS. I have used an old Quinn's ABC Lawn Fawn Die Set in my video. Link to Other Dies set Here - ALPHABET Dies. I kept the card simple to let the focus stay on the shiny dimensional alpabets created using Distress Oxides.

The alphabets in the BONUS card shown in the video is created using a thick (2.5 inch) washi tape.

Next, I need to find new graduates to send these cards to! 😍😍😍

Thank you for spending time with me today! Hope you have a good weekend. Happy Crafting :)
