Build A Gingerbread House Card!

Hi friends,

I created today's card using Hero Arts Gingerbread Stamp & Cut set. I originally saw this cute Gingerbread House card idea at the Hero Arts website, so I thought I would try it myself!

Started with blending Iced Spruce distress oxide ink pad using an ink blending tool over a 4.25" * 5.5" white cardstock. White Gansai Tambi paint was flicked over this cardstock with a small paintbrush and set aside to completely dry. Once dry, snowflakes from the Gingerbread Stamp & Cut and trees from the Home For the Holidays stamp set were stamped with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with White Detail Embossing Powder.

A 1.25" x 5.5" strip of white cardstock was adhered along the bottom edge of the gray sky background. The sentiment "From Our home to yours HAPPY Holidays" from the Gingerbread Stamp & Cut  was stamped with Black Ink along the white border.

The two Gingerbread House Stamp & Cut houses and the gingerbread men were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Black Ink, colored in with Prismacolor pencils, and die cut the images before adhering them to the scene with foam adhesive squares for a bit of dimension. Added some highlights using a White gel pen over the colored images.

The card was finished with some sparkle using Wink Of Stella on these colored images.

Making Clean and Simple Cards Stand Out

Shop Kraftgali
Welcome back everyone to our Saturday Craft Day!  We are keeping it simple today!  Altenew has this beautiful layering stamp set called Delicate Primrose so putting together these dimensional cards was so easy to do! You just need a few shades of ink and they will look as if you spent hours coloring them.  Stamping has always been my favorite, in fact, it's what got me into cardmaking so when I get a chance to do it on the entire card project, I take it!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Concord & 9th City Skapes

Happy Saturday Craft Day!! Today's project uses 2 of my favorite techniques with one of my favorite inks....ink blending and ink smooshing with Distress Oxide Ink. The star of the show is Concord & 9th City Skapes stamp set.  We are creating a silhouette with a stamp by simply filling in the image with a black alcohol marker.  This will add a whole new look to your stamps. A Slothful Sky using Sunny Studio Stamps

Happy Thursday Crafters!

Today I have a bright card for you with the fun sloths in the Sunny Studios Silly Sloths stamp set!

This card has a lot of detail, but really didn't take me too long to make.  I love those cards!

I started by die cutting a thick white cardstock with a double stitched frame and then using the same cardstock, I die cut the wave template.  I then took the insides and inked them with peacock feathers, twisted citron, & mowed lawn.  I took the sky pieces and embossed with stitched clouds from Sunny Studios.

Next, I stamped all the images from Sunny Studios Silly Sloths stamp set, colored with copic markers and fussy cut out.
I die cut a stitched banner and stamped the sentiment in versafine black ink.

I pop dotted the images for a bit of dimension.

For the final touches, I added green and blue sequins and some green and blue nuvo drops.

And there you have it, a quick bright and fun card done!

You can check out all the brands in the Kraftgali store, everything is one sale!

Thank you sooo much for swinging by!
