Hello everyone! Today's Design Team Project features this beautiful background stamp from Prima Marketing. It was so fun to color and I will show you two different ways to do just that; one very simple and fast, and one more therapeutic!
I started off by stamping the background stamp on some watercolor and Bristol smooth paper so that I can do some easy watercoloring with my Zig markers. Once heat embossed I dipped the watercolor panel into Distress Oxide Ink to get the blend of colors I prefer. That was the easy coloring and I highly recommend it.
The more time intensive coloring came with the Bristol smooth paper because I chose to color each individual flower. SO FUN!
Hi Crafty Friends! I’ts Noga and today I'm here to share two cards that I made for kraftgali first birthday :)
In the first card the image was stamped from the stamps set Critter Campout Stamps- Sunny Studio Stampson smooth white cardstock using Jet Black Ink and colored in with Copic Markers.
In the second card the images were stamped from the stamps set Critter Campout Stamps- Sunny Studio Stampson smooth white cardstock using Jet Black Ink and colored in with Copic Markers.
We are back with this ultra fun, Distress Oxide resist card design. I absolutely love playing with Distress Oxide inks and for this project, I'm using the newest bundle! How awesome are these colors???
I started off by stamping out the tools from the Hero Arts Dad's Day Stamp Set. I used Versamark ink and stamped them out first in a symmetrical pattern and then much more randomly on the second card. I then covered them both in white embossing powder and heat set them. THIS is where the fun comes in. I then got to play play play with these inks. I smooshed a few colors on my craft mat and spritzed with water. Then I dipped the watercolor cardstock into the inks and watched as magic happened. I then heat set them and added some brown to make them look "worked on" as this card is a fix-it, handy man, type card.
I made two cards while I had all my supplies out. They both had very similar layouts. I used some silver cardstock in my stash and dry embossed them with a folder that reminded me of a peg board. I adhered my cards using Nuvo glue. These cards were so much fun to do! Thank you so much for hanging out with us today!!!
Thank you so much for playing the Kraftgali Card Challenge #2. So much creativity! We were blown away!!

Hello crafty friends! Buckle in for a super fun card where we get to be artists of sorts. We are going to be playing with this incredible sun die, and these two amazing sets from Hero Arts:
This card came together so easily. I used a few different pieces of watercolor paper and started first by taking Distress Oxide colors in Wild Honey and Squeezed Lemonade. I smooshed them on my craft mat, spritzed with water and then dipped my watercolor paper in them. I thought that they may have blended too much (I know...how dare I say that...) so I added a bit of Fired Brick to them. That was just the trick, since I was using this panel for the Hero Arts Sun Die. Once that was done, I started working on the other watercolor paper. Pulling out some good old Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Salty Ocean, and Candied Apple, I did some light watercoloring. It was absolutely therapeutic; I love watercoloring simple things like this background.
I then stamped out the grass line, followed by a little bit of ink blending to make the sand color at the bottom of the panel. Lastly, I stamped out my tree, the sentiment, and the birds in Versafine Onyx black ink and the elephants in gray. I assembled the card using Nuvo Glue. (love that stuff).
That will do it for the card. Thank you so much for stopping by and crafting with us today! We had some much fun and hope you got inspired to take out any medium you have and get to painting!
