Quick and Easy Boy or Girl Cards with Sizzix | Kraftgali

Hello everyone!  Today's Kraftgali Design Team project focuses on making multiple cards with one stamp/die set and some fun techniques.  We are making a window card by cutting the shape of the die in the front of the card so the image can peek through from the inside.  It's a very easy technique but makes your cards stand out from the others.  Our second card focuses on heat embossing both the image and the background.  And lastly, we could do a multi-set of cards without ink blending using some gorgeous Distress Oxide inks.  These are so much fun and give you such a variety of looks.  These three cards are great for boys and girls.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Double cuteness with Avery Elle's Party Pals!

Hello to you Kraftgali crafters!

It's my favorite day of the week, Friday!  It's my day to share a card with you and it's my crafting day at home with my two best friends!

Today I'm sharing a double slider card I created with Avery Elle's Party Pals stamp set and Lawn Fawn's double slider die, doubly awesome!

To start my card I created my card base using 110lb white cardstock to 5X7.  I then die cut a piece of rainbow pattern paper into a stitched rectangle and adhered to the card.
For the double slider I followed the video that Lawn Fawn provides with wonderful instructions!
I stamped the cuties from Avery Elle's Party Pals, colored with copic markers, and then fussy cut out.
I added clouds with a stencil and TH oxide inks in tumbled glass and broken china.  I then added die cut glitter grass to the bottom of each section.

On the left, I added the cute bunnies with the wish banner and stamped the extra sentiment with versafine black ink.

On the right, I added the adorable kitties with the yay banner and stamped the extra sentiment with versafine black ink.

On the front, I added the adorable little pandas with the happy banner and stamped the sentiment below with versafine black ink.  I added the balloon, some white stitched clouds, and white sequins. To finish the card and make it easier to pull out the sliders, I pop dotted the whole slider piece to the center of the pattern paper and added the glitter pull tabs on each side.

I hope you try out some interactive cards, they are very addictive and I can't seem to get enough of them!  When you create yours, please share on the kraftgali fan club on Facebook and check out all the new product that is coming in regularly at the Kraftgali shop!
See you all next week!

Newton's Nook - So Hoppy Together

Hello Crafty Friends - Annie here with a sweet card featuring Newton's Nook Designs Bitty Bunnies

These adorable bunnies are just happy to be with each other. This set is perfect for the upcoming Easter holiday but, it's also great just to let that special someone how much you care about them.

I stamped the images with Versafine Onyx Black Ink onto Bristol Smooth cardstock and colored them with Arteza Real Brush Markers. For the background, I used Distress Oxide Inks in Broken China and Bundled Sage - I used a brush to apply the ink for a light look. I finished the scene with some tiny flowers.

I hope you give these sweet guys a try!

Newtons Nook Sending Hugs

Hi crafty friends!
This week I played with Newtons Nook's Sending Hugs stamp set.

I never have a plan when making a card so I made a mask for the bear and the gift I thought I would keep him on the paper and mask him off for inking but ended up fussy cutting. I only used the mask for the bear so I could stamp the gift with him holding it.

I used my stamp platform to help me stamp the background. I stamped everything in Memento Black ink. Then  colored in all of the images with alcohol markers. I didn't do any shading since the images are so small.

I did make a little mistake you can see it up on the right towards the top so my design of the card would need to cover it up. After the coloring was done I inked the edges with blue ink.

I matted the colored page with Kraft cardstock and die cut two banners for the sentiment. I stamped the Sentiment with Versafine Black ink.

I added some black Nuvo drops on his eyes and on his nose to help them pop a little bit.

Neat & Tangled Stay Cool slim line card

Hi to all Kraftgali friends!

This Friday I am bringing you the ever addicting slim line card!  I LOVE making these long cards because I can use all the cuties in a stamp set on one card! Yeah!  For this slim line card I used the adorable friends from Neat & Tangled Stay Cool stamp set.

This was a quick card, I finished it in a couple hours (even while watching Netflix)!  The Stay Cool stamp set is easy to color, a lot of  it is just shadowing.

I started the slim line card by trimming an 81/2 x 11 sheet of 110lb white cardstock to 8 x 10 and scoring on the 8" side to make the card base 4 x 10.  I then trimmed another piece of thick white cardstock to fit a little smaller on the front.  Next, I stamped the snowflakes and heat embossed with white embossing powder on the top half of the sheet.  I inked over the snowflakes with oxide inks in mustard seed & squeezed lemonade.

I die cut the stitched mountains and glued to the bottom of the snowflakes paper and stamped the sentiments in black ink near the top.  I then die cut the Altenew hugs script die from purple glitter paper and some scraps of thick white cardstock and layered to make a thick word embellishment.  One of my favorite techniques to add different fonts in my sentiments!

I stamped all of the cuties from the Neat & Tangled Stay Cool stamp set with memento black ink, colored with copics, and fussy cut out.  I pop dotted all of them and glued down the ice hole and water.  And it's done!  Love the colors of this fun winter card!

If you haven't tried making a long card, try it today or this week with your favorite stamp set!  Or check out all the amazing stamp sets she has at Kraftgali.com, she has so many top brands!
