My FIRST Layering Flower Bouquet Card!

Hello Everyone!   I hope you had a great week and looking to another crafty weekend?

Now, I made these sweet Note cards to ‘Just Saying Hello’, for those times you just need to say Hello.

These cards were a bit of a challenge for me, since these are my First Layering Cards and speaking of Challenges I entered my card into the Altenew Inspiration Challenge and you can, too.



My Card:



I choose to create a one layer card using Garden Treasure Stamp set by Altenew.



 

I made masks for the large flower, leaves and the small flower by cutting them out with my Scan n cut2, but you can stamp the impressions on masking paper and cut them out by hand.





After stamping my images, using Altenew inks, I used my bone folder to crease the upper and lower sides, to make the ‘band’ .  This makes the image appear as if it’s raised up on the card.

Then, I  stamped and embossed  ‘Just Saying Hello’ sentiment, from the Painted Butterfly Stamp set by Altenew.

All my supplies were purchased at Kraftgali store.

Father’s Day Cards with Embossed Acetate!

Hello Everyone and Welcome!

Father’s day is coming up and I want to share some cards I made for the men in my life.

I used products from  Concord & 9th,  Avery Elle and Altenew and Distress Oxide inks.  Plus, some Heat Resistant Acetate!

Now, you must know,  it’s a zoo around this place.  When I start a card I have an idea in my head and as I go along BAMMM another flies in and BAMM another and another!  You know what I’m talking about, right? 😉



I started out with Concord & 9th’s Triangle Turnabout stamp and inked up with my lightest color first and up to my darkest color, turning one click for each color.  I then set it aside and inked up another in a different color scheme.

The inks I used for the BLUE card:  Broken China OXIDE, Faded Jeans OXIDE, Altenew Industrial Diamond and Altenew Jet Black.
PURPLE card:  Wilted Violet OXIDE, Altenew Midnight Violet , Altenew Industrial Diamond and Altenew Jet Black.
GREEN card:  Altenew Volcano Lake, Altenew Lagoon , Altenew Industrial Diamond and Altenew Jet Black.



Then, after the pieces were all dry, I placed one-by-one  in  my ‘sparkle box’ and spritzed it with Glitzy Spritzy shimmer spray from Lindy’s Stamp Gang [any glitzy spray you have on hand will do].  That completes the turnabout stamping.

Now, onto the embossing-  I Cut  ‘Hot off the Press’ Heat Resistant Acetate.  In this case, for my A2 sized cards.  Make sure you leave enough at the top for a flap to fold over.

I put the acetate into my Stamp positioning tool and centered the large ‘Dad’ stamp.



*VERY IMPORTANT*  Use an anti-static tool all over the acetate!  You can wipe it clean with a tissue later.

Ink up your stamp with VersaMark and emboss with white embossing powder.  I used  Ranger, but any white embossing powder you have on hand will do.  I put my piece down flat on  my craftmat and heat embossed it.





I made multiple cards so I just left the stamp in there, until I was done with all of them.

Then, I heat embossed the three Avery Elle VELLUM envelopes in the same way.  These envelopes are heavy duty and do not wrap…they are a breeze to work with!  I’m totally going to mail these in the envelopes.

Quick Thank You Card..

I made this simple card using  #dottyturnabout background stamps and All About you Dies by Concord & 9th. It was no effort to finish the card in less than 30 minutes! Happy with the results.

Majestic Bloom Card Set!

Hello Everyone!

Yeppers, I’m back again with more cards to share with you [insert Smiles here]!

Have you ever just wanted to to reach for your inks and paper and just sail away to your crafty dreams?  Of course, you have!  [snickers]

Well, that’s what I did with just a few supplies and viola- these babies were born 🙂



Today’s cards, are created with Altenew Majestic Bloom stamp set.  The flourish on these layering stamps are A-mazing!

On each flower outline, I used Jet Black ink, by Altenew, 3 colors for each flourish layer and for the leaves I just used 2 colors of green- Olive and Moss.

In addition, I popped up the large flourish with 3D Foam tape, added sequins and crystals and Wink of Stella added shine to the leaves and bits of the flowers.

I also, made a Matching Envelope for each card.  By using coordinating stamps, this is a fun way to decorate your envelope!

 

On this gorgeous red bloom I used ink colors:  Blush, Rouge and Velvet!  I can’t say enough about these Inks, I used them on almost Every card I make!
The inks blend so well and I get stunning results 🙂

    

Beautiful Purple shades makes this flourish just Pop!  I used more Altenew inks in the shades of Soft Lilac, Lavender Fields and Deep Iris!



Now, to make thing go a bit FASTER, I used Gold paper [looks embossed doesn’t it…ha gotcha!]



Those ‘rain drops’ are really crystal clear dots from Pretty Pink Posh…love these and the lil bits really add interest.  Notice how they show through for a different effect every time?



This Beautiful floral was inked up with Altenew Gorgeous set Mountain Mist, Volcano Lake, and Lagooninks….Ahhhh, I just love the names to these and of course the Amazing color they bring.

   

For this Beautiful Gold flourish I used Altenew’s Buttercream, Sunkissed and Warm Sunshine!



I’m really happy the way my cards came together and how EASY and FAST they were to make!

Some Anniversary Cards For Inspiration!
